A word from our owner and Head Engineer

Rory Yeoman - Head Engineer

" Having grown up in a tremendously musical household surrounded by family members who play musical instruments, it was only a matter of time until I joined the bandwagon. In early primary school, I took the first opportunity I was given and joined the primary school band playing the trumpet. Having found a joy in playing music yet to be matched, I spent the following school years endeavouring to sharpen my skill and pick up new ones, whilst performing live at a variety of venues.

Throughout the rest of my schooling years leading towards my HSC; I had picked up a variety of instruments such as piano, guitar, bass, and a primary focus on the drums (with the support of a loving and very tolerant family). Having played in a widely versed variety of bands with many incredibly talented musicians, it was safe to say this was no longer just a hobby.

At the age of 16, I along with a group of friends decided to attempt recording our first 4 song EP. With no recording experience whatsoever, little to no recording equipment and a can-do attitude we got through the trials and tribulations and came out with 4 poorly produced songs. Despite the objective lack of quality, it enlightened me to the joy of taking unfinished musical visions to fruition.

Fast forward many years and many dollars spent, I had spent my time recording my own music and doing a multitude of courses to build up the knowledge and experience required to get me where I’ve been fortunate enough to end up today. With a group of like-minded and talented musicians, we have opened a recording studio in West Ryde. Despite a specialization in heavy metal production, I’ve had the opportunity to work with a widely diverse range of musicians of varying styles and cultures. This has allowed me to explore different outlooks and develop a unique sound to bring balance and musical drive to any project thrown my way. “
